A Texas High School Student Won the 2016 Congressional Art Competition

    Texas Representative John Ratcliffe has announced that the grand prize winner of the 2016 Congressional Art Competition is a student from Texas High.

    Texas Representative John Ratcliffe has announced the grand prize winner of the 2016 Congressional Art Competition: The winner is Rylie Power of Texas High School. Power was selected as the winner out of entries from high school students in 18 different counties. Power’s winning artwork, “Elephant,” was created with a Sharpie marker using a technique called “pointillism” in which small, distinct dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image.
