Miller County Authorities are Taking in Individuals Accused in a Meth Distributing Ring

    Miller County authorities are working to round up more than two dozen people accused in a large scale meth distributing ring.

    Miller County authorities are working to round up more than two dozen people accused in a large scale meth distributing ring. A news release from the Texarkana, Arkansas police department says 26 people have been identified and so far 18 people have been taken into custody for narcotics trafficking in Texarkana and Miller County. Today's bust follows an 8 month investigation from various law enforcement agencies including the FBI, the US Marshall Service, state and federal prosecutors, the Miller County Sheriff's office, Texarkana Arkansas Police and the Bi-State Narcotics Task Force. Authorities say some of those arrested will face enhanced charges, accused of selling meth in close proximity to schools, churches and city parks.
