Cass County schools are joining together to view mock wreck along with other activities this week.
Students from Atlanta, Linden-Kildare, Queen City, Bloomburg, and McLeod will view a mock accident scene Tuesday, April 18, 2017 where drinking and driving have fatal consequences, complete with emergency responders, ambulances, and Life Net helicopter services. They will then watch a video of the actions leading up to the wreck and the serious legal results following the event.
Special guest speaker for the event is Sean Carter who will talk about having to deal with severe brain trauma caused from a drinking and driving crash.
Students will also be able to participate in several activities such as field sobriety tests, drunk driving course, rollover convincer, distracting driving demonstration, CPR instruction, electrical safety, and also pick up information from various sponsored booths at the event.
