Conagra Brands, Inc. have issued a recall on two and a half million pounds of canned meat and poultry products.
According to the USDA, the recall is due to a packaging defect that may cause the products to become contaminated.
The recalled foods have establishment number P4247 on the cans and were shipped to retailers nationwide.
The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service says that the cans may have been damaged in a way that isn’t obvious to consumers, and any products with the establishment number should be thrown away or returned to the store.
