Drive safe in winter weather

Driving on icy roads can be extremely dangerous and is a major cause of car accidents during the winter months.

The slick surface of the ice can cause vehicles to skid and lose control, and the lack of traction can make it difficult for drivers to stop or steer their vehicles.

Motorists are advised to slow down, avoid sudden movements, and increase their following distance when driving on icy roads to minimize the risk of accidents.

Drivers should also be prepared for changing road conditions and carry emergency supplies, such as a shovel, blanket, and water, in case they become stranded.
