Miller County Deputies have arrested a man on forgery charges.
A deputy with MCSO observed a vehicle with no rear license plate at approximately 8:57 a.m. on Thursday on South Rondo Road. The deputy initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as Joshua Cupples, who had an outstanding arrest warrant in Miller County.
As the deputy placed Cupples under arrest, he noticed folded money where Cupples had been standing. When the deputy investigated, the money appeared to be fake due to its look and texture. According to the deputy, all the bills had the same serial number.
Cupples was arrested for the outstanding warrant and forgery in the first degree.
