Police arrest juveniles for vehicle theft

Texas-side police have arrested a pair of juveniles who allegedly stole a side-by-side from a local business.

According to police, a Texarkana College police officer saw the 13-year-old boys driving the side-by-side around the campus on Tuesday evening.

The boys told police that a “homeless guy” had given them the vehicle only moments before.  Upon investigating, police discovered that the vehicle had been stolen from a nearby business.

Surveillance at the business showed the boys driving off with the vehicle after the business had closed for the night.

The two juveniles were arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle and taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
