Study shows household expenses in Texarkana below national average

A recent report by doxo.com has revealed that Texarkana households spend about 44% of their monthly income on bills.

According to the report, the average household in Texarkana pays about $1,990 per month, or $23,884 annually. 

This puts Texarkana 2.8% lower than the national average, and about 6% lower than the average in Texas.  The data collected factors in the 10 most common types of household bills including utilities, auto loans, and cable bills.

The report also looks at the annual expenses of over 4,000 cities across the United States.
