Teenagers in Shreveport armed robbery to be tried as adults

    A pair of teenagers will be tried as adults for an armed robbery in Shreveport.

    17-year-old Aareon McKinney and 16-year-old Kevin Player allegedly shot at a victim during an armed robbery in August.  Two juvenile accomplices did not fire weapons during the incident and one has already pleaded guilty, receiving an 18-month suspended sentence with two years of probation.  McKinney and Player are currently being held at the Caddo Correctional Center.  The other juvenile has a court appearance in October.
