Traffic stop leads to obstruction, paraphernalia charges

    A traffic stop by the Miller County Sheriff’s Department led to charges of obstructing governmental operations and possession of drug paraphernalia for three men.

    A deputy began the traffic stop at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday on North Collins Street in Fouke.  According to authorities, the vehicle was initially stopped for an expired registration. 

    The driver, identified as Todd Emerson, allegedly provided a false name to the deputy.  He was arrested for obstruction. 

    His passengers, identified as David Foley and Corey Leytham, were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
