Western Auto Marine in Juneau, Alaska is looking to recruit and train an individual who is capable of profitably managing a multi-department, high volume operation, that is highly seasonal.
As an independent business, they have to do everything themselves, so the ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge base, excellent inventory control skills, and be very comfortable with computers and networking. With over 50,000 SKU's on hand, it is anticipated that it will take the better part of two years for the candidate to become intimately familiar with the inventory, how and when we sell it, and how and when we replenish it.
In addition, be familiar with our customer base, which extends throughout Southeast Alaska.
- Salary Range D.O.E ....55K--75K to start.
- Medical Insurance 25/75% employee/employer split on premiums.
- 1 week paid vacation after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 5 years....
- 401K after 2 years with employer contributions, when store is profitable.
