A boil water notice has been issued for parts of Texarkana, Texas, after a contractor struck a water main. The affected area includes Willis Street between Phenie and Caddo Streets, as well as Lelia Street.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality advises all residents in that area to boil water for at least two minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or washing hands. Vulnerable groups, including children, seniors, and those with weakened immune systems, are especially at risk.
