A routine diamond search turned historic at Crater of Diamonds State Park after two friends discovered a rare 6.03-carat yellow diamond during a TikTok livestream.
Jack Pearadin of Nashville, Arkansas, spotted the diamond while sifting gravel he and Michael Schumacher of Wisconsin had collected earlier. Pearadin was live on TikTok when he noticed a bright yellow glow in the pile.
Park officials confirmed the find earlier this month, calling it a rare 48-sided yellow diamond. The gem ranks as the fourth-largest yellow diamond ever found at the park.
The friends named it the Pearadin Schumacher American Dream Diamond.
