The Texarkana, Texas Police Department is asking for help locating 16-year-old Abel Hendrix.

Police say Abel left his grandparents’ home on August 22, shortly after being returned home following a previous runaway incident. His grandmother has not seen him since.

Abel has reportedly contacted family members and said he is “grown now,” has food, a place to stay and a job.

Police believe he may still be in the Texarkana area.

If you know where Abel is, call Detective Lauren Freeman at 903-798-3116. Anonymous tips can be made through Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP or P-3-Tips dot com.
