A pedestrian was killed Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle on U.S. Highway 82 near Vanderbilt Road, just east of the Texarkana city limits.
A pedestrian was killed Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle on U.S. Highway 82 near Vanderbilt Road, just east of the Texarkana city limits.
Arkansas State Police say 47-year-old Christopher Lamin was walking along the highway around 8 p.m. when he was hit by an eastbound 2010 Toyota.
Lamin died at the scene. The driver was not injured. Police say the weather was clear and the roadway was dry.
