Officials say the project could bring an estimated $3.5 billion in investment and create about 120 permanent jobs once fully built out.
The development will use a behind-the-meter power strategy combined with battery storage to deliver reliable energy for future tenants. Developer Potentia Development expects the site could be operational within 24 to 30 months.
The project is currently in the utility study process with Southwestern Electric Power Company for long-term transmission access. A major 345-kilovolt transmission line already borders the site.
Leaders say the location also offers natural gas, water access, fiber connectivity, and several tax incentives, helping position the Texarkana area for major industrial growth.
