Southwestern Electric Power Company says more than 2,300 linemen and support workers are on standby as Winter Storm Fern moves into the region.

Crews are staging equipment and preparing for round-the-clock restoration efforts across Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas, including the Texarkana area.
