A Texarkana motorcycle mechanic is facing three theft charges after allegedly keeping customers’ bikes and cutting off contact.
According to an affidavit filed in Bowie County, 41-year-old James Scott Coker is accused of failing to return three motorcycles brought to Scott’s Shop for repairs, including a Yamaha and two Harleys.
Investigators with the Texarkana Texas Police Department say customers also reported paying thousands of dollars for work that was never completed.
Coker is free on bond. The case has been assigned to John Tidwell.
