A Texarkana woman is facing three counts of child endangerment after police say she left her three young children home alone while she was at work.
Officers responded to a welfare call in the 2600 block of West 13th Street around 7:15 a.m. on January 8. Police say they heard a baby crying and entered the home out of concern for the children’s safety.
Inside, officers found a 10-month-old and a 2-year-old in an upstairs bedroom. An 8-year-old child was not at the home at the time.
Investigators believe the children were left alone for up to three hours.
