A 20-year-old man is in jail after a two-day manhunt in Bowie County.
Deputies say it started early Monday when Texarkana Texas police chased a stolen vehicle. The driver, Brandon Leshawn Davis, fled on foot, sparking multiple searches involving several agencies and K9 teams.
Davis was spotted several times but escaped until Tuesday morning, when officers surrounded a wooded area on County Road 2220. With help from Texas Parks and Wildlife and other agencies, Davis was tracked and arrested without incident. He faces evading arrest, failure to identify, and multiple felony warrants.
