A 39-year-old woman has been charged with murder following a shooting in Cass County that left a man dead.
According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a shooting at a home on County Road 4342 on Dec. 6, 2025. They found 39-year-old Jeremy Scott Quada suffering from a gunshot wound.
Quada was taken for medical treatment and later transferred to a Texarkana hospital, where he died from his injuries three days later.
Investigators say Wendy Renee Brian, 39, allegedly shot Quada during an altercation. She was arrested June 10 in Harrison County and charged with murder, a first-degree felony.
The investigation remains ongoing. Brian is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
